Tuesday Table: Every Tuesday 6-6:30pm, this free community meal gives area folks a chance to dine, visit and enjoy and night out. The Link activity's regular schedule is:

  • 1st Tuesday - Our Lady of the Lakes, Spicer
  • 2nd Tuesday - Evangelical Cov.Church, New London
  • 3rd Tuesday - Faith Lutheran Church, Spicer
  • 4th Tuesday - Peace Lutheran Church, New London

Summer Concert Series : Free music 6:30 to 8:30pm on Thursdays all Summer long at Glacial Ridge Winery.

Sunday, August 23, 11am-3pm ::: Phil Sommers Benefit . Pulled-pork meal ($10), plus Silent Auction and Bake Sale at Spicer American Legion to offset costs of Phil's cancer treatment. E-mail philbenefit@gmail.com for more info or to make a donation.

Monday, September 7 ::: Labor Day . Banks and Post Offices closed on this National Holiday. Check with individual businesses for holiday hours.

Saturday, September 12 ::: Prairie Pothole Day . This annual fundraiser is held at the Stoney Ridge Farm, just outside New London. This event offers games, learning about the environment, raffles, and more. Visit their website for more info.

Saturday, September 12, 12-8pm ::: GRW Grape Stomp . Come on out for a fun filled day of music, food, vendors, beverages and Grape Stomping! Call 320-796-9463 (WINE) to register for a 2 person stomping team, or simply stop in and sign up. Check out their website for directions and more.

Wednesday, September 16, 5pm-dusk ::: A&W Cruise Night . Enjoy classic cars and food specials at The Country Stop

Fri&Sat, September 18&19::: NL Fall Festival . Come out to see all the Fall Fashions and Decor at this annual New London area Merchants event. Watch for more info as date approaches.

Saturday, September 19, 10am-4pm ::: Celebrate Art! Celebrate Coffee! . Admire and purchase work from this juried art show and sale. Other activities include an art raffle, live music, free coffee and more in downtown Willmar. More info can be found on the website.

Sunday, September 27, 11am-4pm ::: GRW Family Fun Day. A fun day for the entire family at Glacial Ridge Winery, featuring inflatable bouncy houses, petting zoo hay rides, face painting, games, mazes, music and much more. Check out their website for more info.
